Biscotti keep for weeks in a tin, which makes them the rare food gift that forgives the mail. For December delivery, order early and check each bakery’s own posted deadline — small shops close their shipping windows before the carriers do. The two bakeries that say cantucci on the label — Bruno’s and Enrico Biscotti Co. — are flagged below. Baking the gift instead? The Christmas cookies of Italy, region by region.
